The new Chamber's building has to represent the completion of the modernization of the institution and give the city a landmark building that is a reference binder of business activity.
With the idea of showing the inner activities of the building, it is opted for the construction of two main vertical circulation cores, situated on the sides, which of are supported free-bearing floors. Three other floors hang of these and form one unit, having their own service cores and internal communication. Seven units are obtained this way, and differ from each other by different dispositions of internal cores and hanging floors, obtaining a dynamic and transparent elevation.
The rest of the program is underground, treating the remaining street-level space as public. Two large holes treated with a set of mirrors bring daylight into the bowels of underground spaces.
